MITOCHO&CLORO

mitochondria.jpg
The Mitochondria is the power plant of the cell. In the inner membrane or cristae a very important reaction takes place. The reaction is called cellular respiration. The Mitochondria harnesses the energy from the glucose and it uses it to create a special energy called ATP. The ATP is the reason that the mitochondria is called the power plant organelle. The ATP acts like a batery that will power the rest of the cell.
