Ocean currents are the horizontal or vertical movement of both surface and deep water. Oceanic currents are found all over the world verying in size and strength. Surface currents are the ones found in the top 400 meters of the ocean. Deep water currrents are called thermohaline circulation and make up about 90% of the ocean.
